Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Agreement

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and the developer of Neat (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the app. Licensed Application End User License Terms published by Apple also apply where required; see Apple’s Standard EULA.

2. The service

Neat helps you organize content already on your device — screenshots, duplicate and similar photos, burst frames, large videos, screen recordings, video compression, duplicate contacts, and past calendar events. Scanning and matching are designed to run on device. Neat is not a system junk cleaner and does not claim to speed up your phone or clear other apps’ private data.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Neat on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or rent the app, except to the extent applicable law forbids these restrictions.

4. Your responsibilities

• You confirm organize, merge, compress, replace, or clear actions before they run.
• Deleting photos or videos typically moves them to Photos’ Recently Deleted; reclaiming space may require emptying that album in iOS.
• You are responsible for backing up important content and for how you use permissions you grant (Photos, Contacts, Calendar).
• Compression and replace-original options can change or remove media; review settings carefully before starting.

5. Free plan and Neat Pro

Core organize features may be used without purchase. The free plan may include a wait period after organize actions. Neat Pro removes that wait so you can continue organizing anytime. Pro may be offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (for example weekly or yearly) and/or a lifetime unlock.

6. Subscriptions and payments

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Prices are shown in the App Store and in-app and may vary by region. Offers (if any) are subject to App Store configuration.
• Lifetime unlocks are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew.

Billing, refunds, and taxes for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy. Core organize analysis is designed to stay on your device.

8. Disclaimer

Neat is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Size estimates, suggestions, and compression results are approximate and may differ from system Photos labels or your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, photos, contacts, calendar events, or profits arising from your use of Neat. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Neat Pro in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you only used the free plan), except where liability cannot be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms when the product or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
